This short story takes place following the events of The Alien's Criminal, but you do not need to have read the book to enjoy this spicy short about an alien scientist under the influence of an emotion-suppressing drug and his seriously unamused human fiancee. It contains very minor sub-plot spoilers from Book 2 of Virgin Warriors of Kar'Kal.
